Santa!!!
Last year Elizabeth was only a few weeks old, so as much as I wanted to go, we decided to not take her to the mall to see Santa. So... this was her first Santa experience. Nailed it!!! Well.... if the screaming kid pic was what you were going for!! I admit, I wanted one of these for the collection. :-) Carson has never given us any screaming pics and none that will make the high school or wedding montage, so I was actually pretty pumped to get this GEM!!!
She's been a little clingy lately since she hasn't been feeling 100%, so going to some strange man was NOT something she was up for. I jumped in one picture to calm her down, but when looking at the 3 choices, I had to go with this one. No hesitation from me at all. This is a keeper in my book!!!
Here's a little trip down memory lane....
(all pics of pics, so pardon the low quality)

(i.e. Mr. "Not So Sure About This But Hadn't Quite Lost It Yet")
2013 - Mr. "I Just Became a Big Brother, and I Got This"

Elizabeth's 1st Birthday!
On Sunday, November 23rd we celebrated Elizabeth's 1st birthday at Wannie & Papi's house! It was a wonderful celebration of our sweet and spunky little girl! HUGE thanks to Wannie & Papi for letting us use their house and with all the help setting up! Thank you to everyone who came out! It was definitely a special day!
Be prepared for picture overload!!
The spread....
My sweet neighbor made the banner!
A local lady (Oh Mai Goodies) made the cookies, and they turned out PRECIOUS (and delicious)!
Thanks, Amanda, for the pretty sunflowers!
Sugar bees on the cupcakes! (Who the heck would bake a cake and cupcakes when you can get a small cake and a dozen cupcakes for $12?!?... I'm not a baker!)
I had everyone write a little note in this board book.
Paper lantern bee hives (Pinterest for the win!)

She LOVED cake!!!
I mean.... the cuteness is too much!!
Sporting the tutu Mommy made and her sweet bee antenna! No shirt required. :-)
Yep!... she's the birthday girl!
All toys (and non-toys) go in the mouth...
Presents!!!
No words....
I can't believe she left that headband on for as long as she did.
Thank you again to everyone for coming to celebrate our sweet girl!!! She took a little bit to warm up to the whole party idea but then totally ROCKED being the birthday girl!!! She had so much fun and was just a ball of joy, just like the always is!!
Cake Smash Success!!!
