Annual LWS Pumpkin Decorating!

A fun tradition at Carson's school every year is decorating a pumpkin!  Then they take the kids pictures in the patch.  It's always really cute!

His first year he made a deer.  The next it was Dusty Crophopper from Planes.  This year we were a lot less ambitious than the Dusty plane from last year, but it actually turned out super cute!!

Just Call Him J.J.

I'm not really sure when or how it all started, but Carson is OBSESSED with J.J. Watt, or J.J. "What", as he calls him.... AND as we must call him these days.  Yes, he wants to be called "J.J.", not Carson.  He will correct you.  I've had to repeatedly tell him that he better not correct his teachers at school.  :-(  

Clearly I have failed as a Dallas Cowboys fan, but I will note that the obsession is with J.J. Watt, not the actual Texans.  Anyways....

Aunt Cyndi bought him this get-up at Target and we can barely get him out of it!  He LOVES it!!!

Since he wanted to be J.J. Watt for Halloween, we let him spend his Halloween money from Wannie (along with an old gift card of Mommy's) to buy his very own #99 jersey.  ANY TIME he see's #99, he points it out.  At the Nederland-Port Neches game this past weekend, he saw #99 on the side line and went crazy!  He thought J.J. Watt has become a Bulldog.  The 99 cent menu at fast food restaurants is always fun too!  :-)

I LOVE kids in pumpkin patches!!!  We weren't planning to go and just happened to drive by a big one!  Of course, they weren't in coordinating outfits, and I only had my camera phone.  :-(  Oh well, we got a few cute pics anyway!!
