Only 14.5 More Years!

Too bad Carson has 14.5 more years to go until he can drive...legally.

At the farm this weekend, Carson and I walked down to the woods where Daddy was gathering fire wood. Instead of walking back, he sat in Daddy's lap and "drove" the truck. (Please note, the is the ONLY place, other than maybe the deer lease, that I would EVER let Carson do this!)

He LOVED it! He loved grabbing the steering wheel and actually turning it back and forth. He actually was turning the wheel enough to move the truck (as evidenced in the video below). He also loved honking the horn once he figured out how to do it. He just had the BIGGEST smile the whole time!!! It was SO cute!!!

After we got back up to the house and got out of the truck, he was ready to go again and kept pointing up at the truck door and trying to reach the handle. He got mad when he figured out we weren't going again.

Please excuse my annoying voice in the background. :-)

Little Helper!

I've mentioned before that Carson loves to help unload the dishwasher. He also loves to unload firewood and put it in the wood pile. He could have done this ALL DAY.

Please excuse my annoying voice in the background. :-)

Mommy's Slippers

I turned around to find Carson doing this...

What a cute little goober...

Make Ya Smile Monday!

Just chillin' at the farm...

Happy New Year! (Almost a month late)

Again, I realize I am WAY late on the New Years post. In short, we went up to Toledo Bend with Andrew's parents, Cousin Kim, and Jeremy & Jamie...and 4 dogs. They were banned from the house (except Tink, she doesn't count) and spent the weekend outside in the kennels on the porch. Don't worry, we played outside a lot too! We ate good, watched football, and actually made it to midnight on New Years. I honestly don't think I've made it to midnight since college... okay, maybe once or twice, but definitely not in the last several years.

Here's a little picture dump to document the weekend.

Our house/cabin - it was WAY bigger than it looked from the outside!

Lots of wagon rides took place

Throwing leaves up in the air is fun!

Driving Daddy's boat

Climbing in Daddy's boat is fun too

Christmas 2011 - Part 2

Yeah, yeah... I know Christmas was a month ago, but I am in what us accounting firm people call "busy season." Therefore, blogging takes a back seat. Anyways, here are a bunch of pics from Christmas day. My immediate family, Andrew's immediate family, his grandmother, and Dan's sister's family were all here. The little man had a BLAST to say the least!

Christmas was definitely much more lively this year than it was last year... I have a feeling that trend will continue for quite a while!!!
