and I'm just waiting for Carson to wake up any second. He's been asleep for almost 8 hours. Is this for real?!?! As a tired mom, I'm loving it!!! As a breastfeeding mom, ok, that's why I'm sitting here typing...it's called multitasking, if you catch my drift.
Ever since I got back from my retreat, Carson has been sleeping really good. Technically, I guess we can say he is "sleeping through the night." (I never really understood why most books define this as a 6-hour stretch with no interruption, but nonetheless that's what he's been doing.) So far this week, he's slept for stretches of 6.5, 5.5, and 6 hours. Add 2 to 4 more hours on both sides of the long stretch between feedings, and that's how our nights have gone. In bed usually sometime between 7 and 8, sleep 3-4 hours, eat, back asleep for 5.5 to 6.5 hours, eat, then sleep again for 2 to 3 hours. I'm totally digging this 8 hour business though.
Keep it up Carson!!! Love you!!!
Yay Carson!!!!!
