Andrew surprised me before Christmas to let me know that he got (well.. wanted to get and had me do it) Cotton Bowl tickets! WHOOP!!!
He literally put a bowl of cotton balls under the Christmas tree... I totally didn't get it.
So, as painful as it was to hit the "Confirm Purchase" button on StubHub, it was well worth it! If you add up the cost of all the games we didn't go to the last several years, it would easily exceed the price of these tickets... so, we splurged on us for a change!

We found an amazing Mexican food place off the beaten path for lunch...
Our classy hotel, the Admiral Hotel, had a bottle opener in the bathroom. (Hey, unless I wanted to pay $300 or be really far from the stadium, this appeared to be my only choice... or at least the best option.)

What I'm talkin' about... WHOOP!
The game was SO much fun!!! This whole season has just been amazing... the move to the SEC, actually doing GREAT in the SEC (which was opposite of what EVERYONE was saying would happen), Johnny Football, the Heisman, killing OU in the Cotton Bowl, etc... The energy in the stadium was just awesome... I REALLY miss going to Aggie games... I forgot how much fun they are!!! Hopefully, we can get back to trying to go to at least one game a year. I can't wait to take our little Aggie... stinks it will cost just as much for him as it will for us. Oh well! I think he'll love it too!!
