Last Saturday morning, we drove to Dallas to celebrate David and Erin's upcoming nuptials. Guy and Connie Smith and Rita and Gary Griffith graciously hosted a lovely couple's shower for about 50 people. It was so great to catch up with old friends that I sadly don't get to see very often.
They had a pool that Carson DESPERATELY wanted to get in the second we got there. He was a little toot (to put it nicely) for the first hour or so we were there. He was whining and crying that "Daddy said no" and expressing how bad he wanted to go swimming. Eventually he got over it and was his typical wild man self.
He was a big "help" opening presents... poor David & Erin.... Carson was all up in their business and trying to steal the spotlight! Typical.
Greta and I were excited to take a "bump buddies" picture together! She's due 2 weeks after me with a little boy!
Carson had so much fun playing with her little girl, Lily. The were roaring like lions at each other and then played the whole party a lovely little duet!
Fun times!!! Congrats to the happy couple (and I mean David & Erin, not Carson & Lily!)!!!
