I think I figured it out...
Carson isn't teething (well, he is, but that isn't the problem), he's not just going through some grump spell...he's TIRED. It seems like every day when we pick Carson up and bring him home from school, he goes through this EXTREMELY grumpy spell. He's super grumpy right when he gets home, then is happy again if he gets to go outside, then is a total grump during dinner and throws fits. He hasn't really been eating dinner very well the last week or so. So, we stop in the middle and say forget it. Then, he gets this CRAZY second wind and is happy as can be. Then, he switches back to his grumpy self. Bath time is usually pretty quick because he's not having it. It's like we can't get to the book-reading/prayers/songs part of the night fast enough. He's been in bed right around 7 without a peep the last couple weeks and sleeping until 7 am. I can't believe how EARLY he's happily going to bed. He WANTS to go to bed. For a while, he was sleeping 2 full hours at school, but his reports the last couple of weeks have been 1.5 hours at best. So, maybe the canine teething is throwing him off. Who knows?
Anyone else's kiddos come home just FLAT WORN OUT???
Oh my gosh- that sounds exactly like our last two weeks!!! Except Jay isn't sleeping 12 hours at night either. He's just waking up faster during naps and earlier in the morning. It's like he knows there is fun to be had while awake! And his appetite is way down too! We have our 15 month appt tomorrow- I will let you know what our doc says!!
