C's 2nd Birthday Weekend! - Part 1

We officially have a 2 year old!!!  Carson's actual birthday was on Sunday, but Friday we had his little party at school and Saturday was his "big" birthday party at ViVi & Doc's house.  I still can't believe he's already TWO!  It really doesn't seem like that long ago that Andrew was assembling the Cozy Coupe in the kitchen at midnight before Carson's 1st birthday.  This last year seriously FLEW by... and what a JOY it's been!  It's absolutely AMAZING how much they change in one year... we actually have a little person on our hands with a BIG personality now.  I'll do a separate post about what our little TWO year old man is up to these days.

Back to the parties...I baked cookies Thursday night to take to Carson's school on Friday.  I don't think most parents stick around, but since we pretty much just had a family party, I wanted to see him with his little friends singing Happy Birthday.

The little girl next to him is his little girlfriend. He talks about her all the time! How cute are they?!?!

Even though my cookies weren't the most beautiful things in the world, they did taste good!  A couple weeks ago was another little boy's birthday and Carson came home with one of the little Sesame Street books from the $1 bin at Target, so I thought we should do a little something.  Crayons were on sale, so a 24-pack it was!

We headed to Baytown on Friday night and Wannie, Papi, and Auntie Amanda ("Manna") gave their presents early... both were hits!!!
