Friday Faves!

Just a few things that I'm thankful for or have made me smile this week...and yes, most of these this week are Carson-related.

1. A new work computer with LOTS of USB ports...it's the little things :-)

2. Sweet, baby curls... yes, Carson now has a few little curls in back!

3. Watching Carson hit a new milestone - pulling up!!! Carson pulled up in Wanda's crib this week and then pulled up in his yesterday. All it took was finally lowering the mattress...now he can't fall out, but he can pull up! He's now trying to pull up on EVERYTHING. He's also opening drawers...eek!... still haven't baby-proofed except for covering wall outlets. Did I mention I electrocuted myself last weekend? I blindly tried to unplug either my pump or computer from the power strip and managed to stick a finger in an open socket or it touched the prong while still plugged in... not sure exactly what happened, only that I got a strong enough shock that I screamed and was mildly thrown back. Good one, Emily. Now I know why they make those plug covers.

4. Watching Carson see a puppy dog on TV and getting excited. Anyone else see that "talking" dog clip on GMA yesterday?

5. RAIN! Even though it was just a smidgen of what the news promised, we still got a little bit.

6. Having the chef, uh, I mean husband, home again! :-)

7. LOTS of fresh tomatoes and green beans from OUR OWN garden!
