1st Beach Trip!

Saturday morning, the Traveling Gypsies (as we now refer to ourselves) packed up the truck, with two dogs and a 10-month old in tow, and headed to Crystal Beach to check out Kim's beach house and to hang out with Jeremy & Jamie.

Someone was already a little sleepy when we headed down to the water. (Note: BOB was great in the sand...we just gave him a good rinsing when we got back to the house.)


One of the best things about this trip is that I finally have some pictures with my son!














And some of the WHOLE family!!!












I promise he was having fun...just SO sleepy!


We had very few sand-eating attempts. None were direct, just indirect like this...


Finally figuring out that playing in the sand is fun!

Sleepy, sleepy boy


For the most part, Carson liked standing in the wet sand, but wasn't so wild about having waves splash up on him, especially when sitting. It scared him and he started crying and clinging to whoever had him. He did like walking out into the water and watching the waves. He was certainly WORN OUT when we got home!
